Vessel Safety Checks by US Coast Guard Auxiliary

The United States Coast Guard Auxliary will be performing vessel safety checks for all LEHYC members.

Courtesy inspections will be available to make sure your boat complies with all Federal and State boating laws. All vessels passing inspection will be awarded a VSC decal.

Inspections will begin at 10AM on Saturday, June 17 until approximately 2PM.

The VSC decal alerts the Coast Guard, Harbor Patrol, and other law-enforcement agencies that your boat was found to be in compliance with all Federal and State boating laws. Frequently, such agencies will not detain or board boats displaying a current year decal that are otherwise operating safely.
