This weekend LEHYC is hosting the Eastern E Scow Championship. This is a special year because it is the 100thAnniversary for the E Scow Fleet. Each yacht club in the USA hosting an E Scow regatta this year is adding a celebratory component. LEHYC is hosting two socials: one on Friday night and a Dinner Dance on Saturday evening. Our membership is encouraged to attend both events. Friday night is LEHYC Happy Hour night. We are moving the Happy Hour to the Front Dock to include both our visiting sailors and our membership. No registration is required. Just come as normal, with your beverage and an appetizer. We have casual live music planned for the evening.
Saturday night we are hosting a Celebratory Dinner Dance. It's too late to sign up for the dinner; however, we are offering an $20 after-dinner option and welcome the membership at 8 PM to come enjoy the band and sunset. Those who previously purchased dinner dance tickets through the regatta, or our online registration program, have specific wristbands that include beer and wine; those arriving after 8PM are encouraged to BYOB.
